CEO of RuPaul’s Bookstore Apologizes For Carrying Anti-LGBTQ+ Extremists Books

Queer News Tonight covered a story last week about Allstora, an online bookstore co-founded by RuPaul, facing backlash for selling anti-LGBTQ+ books by right-wing authors, including Chaya Raichik from Libs of TikTok. Initially, Allstora defended its decision but later quietly reversed it and apologized. The move, however, upset conservative media, which is now accusing the platform of hypocrisy. CEO Eric Cervini has taken responsibility and apologized to queer customers, RuPaul fans, and marginalized authors. In his recent apology post, he also explained the steps Allstora is taking to address the issue, such as introducing a flagging system for readers to report objectionable content.
