In a recent interview with Dax Shephard for “Armchair Expert”, former pro wrestler, actor, and Merman Barbie John Cena talked about seeing his older brother struggle when they were in school. He mentioned that while the “Revenge of the Nerds” films were popular at that time in the 80’s, the small Massachusetts town they lived in wasn’t very welcoming to his computer nerd gay older brother. He also talked about how he didn’t understand what was going on at the time, but how he now feels for what his brother must have been going through as someone who wasn’t one of the “cool kids” and also was hiding the secret of his sexuality.
