Galleria Fort Lauderdale will host BLOOM, a juried art exhibition honoring Earth Day, on Thursday, April 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Presented in partnership with Art and Culture Center/Hollywood, ArtServe, ArtsUnited, and History Fort Lauderdale, the event will feature nearly 60 selected works by over 50 South Florida artists.
Each piece interprets the planet’s natural beauty—from oceans and wildlife to blooming landscapes. Held at the Galleria, this complimentary evening includes a special live performance by Ry Rivers. More than 150 submissions were received across various mediums, including sculpture, photography, fashion, and multimedia painting. One outstanding artist will be awarded a $500 best-in-show prize. Participating artists include Tim Forman, Jamie Rodriguez, Tricia Rutsis, Nadine Floyd, Suzanne Barton, Walter McBride, and Claudette Sernius.
