Unique ‘Camp, Camp’ Brings Movie ‘Dirty Dancing To Life For ‘Glamping’ And LGBTQ Outdoor Vacations

For nearly three decades, Camp’ Camp has been a lifeline of connection, growth, and pure queer joy for LGBTQ adults across the country. And this August, it’s back. Running from August 14th to 21st in the serene woodlands of central Maine, Camp’ Camp offers a one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive summer vacation designed especially for LGBTQ adults aged 21 and up. Now in its second season at a new upgraded location—with over a mile of waterfront and air-conditioned communal cabins—Camp’ Camp is more vibrant than ever. What sets this camp apart? No alcohol.

No hookup culture. Just real, meaningful connection. The days are packed—from 7 in the morning until after midnight—with everything from canoeing and pickleball to stained glass art, Broadway dance classes, and even a “Talent/No Talent” show. Every evening brings a new themed social event, like a Barn Dance with live fiddlers.

There are plenty of peaceful moments too—on the dock, in meditation classes, or just watching the sunset with a new friend. Whether you’re seeking new friendships, creative inspiration, or simply a place to be your full queer self—Camp’ Camp could be the perfect place to recharge this summer. More details are available on Campcamp.com.
