Drag king trailblazer Murray Hill is calling for broader inclusion within the LGBTQ+ movement “protect the dolls” The movement is an embracement to support the Trans community. Between hosting Revry’s King of Drag and starring in Somebody Somewhere and Elsbeth, Hill’s momentum continues with his recognition in Out’s annual Out100 list of changemakers. In his profile, Hill said, “After decades in this game, I still see drag kings, butches, masc folks, lesbians, and trans men treated as an afterthought…I hope our language expands to include everyone. ‘Protect the Ken dolls’ too.” Hill says his mission is ensuring “everybody’s got a seat at the showbiz table.”
