A billboard referencing past allegations against James Charles briefly appeared in Los Angeles over the weekend before being removed on Monday. The display featured Charles’ photo alongside a BBC headline about 2021 accusations involving inappropriate messages to minors. Ethan Klein confirmed funding the billboard via Ted Entertainment Inc. In an Instagram video, Klein said, “Yes, it’s true. I paid about $10,000 to put up a full-sized billboard…” and described it as an effort to remind the public of Charles’ past conduct. In 2021, Charles admitted his behavior was reckless. Neither Charles nor his team has commented on the billboard.
