The Big Gay Musical

Casper Andreas and Fred M. Caruso direct the new American musical comedy film “The Big Gay Musical.” The film follows the lives of 2 handsome actors who are both gay (one is out and the other is closeted) and starring in a gay play. Our cover model, Daniel Robinson, plays Paul and Joey Dudding plays Eddie. Their lives mimic their character in that Paul is searching for his perfect life partner and Eddie is struggling because his religious upbringing is in conflict with his desire to be with men.

Their lives mimic their character in that Paul is searching for his perfect life partner and Eddie is struggling because his religious upbringing is in conflict with his desire to be with men. Paul becomes frustrated on not being able to find a decent man and decides to be promiscuous and Eddie decides to finally come out to his conservative parents whom do not take it well. The film is filled with musical numbers that will keep you in stitches. In the end, everyone realizes that life would be much better if they accepted themselves for whom they are. The film also stars Jeff Meltzer, Liz McCartney, Brian Spitulnik, Andre Ward, Brent Corrigan and John Hilner.

 

The Big Gay Musical is Daniel’s first film. His credits include “Hairspray” his Broadway debut! National tour: “Oklahoma”! (Will Parker). European tour: “Grease.” Regional: “The Rocky Horror Show,” “Cabaret,” “The Pajama Game” and “The Hardy Boys.” He would like to give special thanks to Amy C, Big Bro Joe, Big Sis Amanda, Papa Steve and of course Momma Traci!

 

With a cast of incredible Broadway talent, “The Big Gay Musical” will open at the Sunrise Cinemas Gateway Theatre on Friday, October 23rd.
