Due to popular demand, local photographer Gio Spano’s exhibit at Dennis Dean Galleries has been extended through the end of August. His show, “The Art of Capturing Alluring Images,” has been on display since mid-May. The name of the show is fitting as it describes what Spano specializes in – photographing sexy men.

Due to popular demand, local photographer Gio Spano’s exhibit at Dennis Dean Galleries has been extended through the end of August. His show, “The Art of Capturing Alluring Images,” has been on display since mid-May. The name of the show is fitting as it describes what Spano specializes in – photographing sexy men.
This exhibit is a true celebration of the beauty of male form.
“In my opinion, the male form is one of nature’s most beautiful artistic creations,” Spano said.
He chose strong images that will evoke an emotional response from the viewer.
“That’s what the show is about,” he said. “For me, an image is captivating when it speaks to the viewer and to me as the artist.”
Dennis Dean was excited to have Spano showcase his work at the gallery.
“Not only is he a great photographer, he is a great person,” Dean said. “We are lucky to have him in South Florida.”
With the exception of a couple college photography classes, Spano is self taught. The talented photographer has spent his entire professional career working in the entertainment industry. He started his career as an Actor/Model and then went on to become a successful Producer, Director, Writer, and Corporate Executive. Several years back he decided it was time to pursue his true passion – photography.
“I am never happier than when I am capturing an alluring image of someone or something,” he said.
