With a blowout Block Party

On Saturday, August 18, from 5 pm to 12:30 am the iconic gay club, Score, will be celebrating fourteen years in South Beach as the destination for music lovers and the LGBT community around the world. Score’s tag line, “Bigger & Better” will live up to its name as pre production begins for a full scale, power house production, block party that will encompass Lincoln Lane between Meridian Street and Meridian Ct.

The mega block party will be sponsored by Absolut, Avion Tequila, Malibu and Chivas Regal with Score’s signature colors, red, white and black flowing from 10ft trusses as an array of colors spill from the huge LED stage where for the first time in Miami, Superstar DJ’s Tracy Young & DJ Abel will play back to back from the stage and inside of Score. This will be Tracy Young’s first appearance since her move back to Miami. Additional entertainment will be provided by 10 beautiful female and male dancers and human statues that will greet guest as they walk in and a live band. This amazing production will be a FREE event (with flyer or invite) for all of the loyal supporters that have made Score the longest running club on Lincoln Road. Score is anticipating over a thousand music lovers to invade the Lincoln Lane area for this event.

DJ ABEL

This Brooklyn native that calls Miami his home has been giving music lovers his signature Latin beats under his pulsating Tribal, Progressive and Techno House sounds for years. He has dominated the circuit scene since 1992 and in 2012 he was nominated for his first Grammy award for Rihanna’s “Only Girl in the World” remix with his production and remixing partner, Ralphi Rosario, teaming together as Rosabel. Rosabel has worked with Cher, Donna Summer, and Gloria Estefan, while churning out numerous #1 Billboard dance hits, including Jennifer Holliday’s “And I’m Telling You (I’m Not Going)”, Jeannie Tracy’s “The Power” and their signature anthem “Don’t You want My Love,” featuring Debbie Jacobs. Score is proud to have this amazing talent as a monthly resident DJ.

DJ TRACY YOUNG

For the past 20 years this wonder woman has thrilled music lovers in a profession that has been dominated by men. When Madonna called, she picked up and she spun at the Queen of Pops wedding in Scotland. A gig that left many other DJ’s envious and in awe of her talent. Young has always been humble, focusing on her career and the ever growing roster of releases on her Ferosh record label rather than her own burgeoning celebrity. Her Miami fan base is thrilled to have her back in the city that made her famous.

Score Score is located in the heart of South Beach, where enthusiastic club revelers experience state of the art lights and sound as some of the world’s most renowned DJ’s visit and draw hundreds to the dance floor. Muscle boys, trendy fashionistas, Latinos and even polo clad boys, find their own niche among the other beautiful people. Score’s art of reinvention has kept them relevant, which is a phenomenon in the transient world of the nightlife industry. Finding consistent and creative forms of entertainment is of the utmost importance, while having a courteous and attractive staff only enhances Score’s appeal and keeps the locals loyal. You Expect celebrities such as Lady GaGa, Pamela Anderson, Katie Perry, Fergie, Gloria Estefan, LMFAO, Neon Hitch, India, Paulina Rubio, Macy Gray, Queen Latifah, Wynter Gordon, Rosie O’Donnell, Dan & Dean (Dsquared twins), Domenico Dolce, Lance Bass and Brooke Hogan to drop by and hang out with some of their biggest fans.

Join Billy, Luis and the entire Score team on Saturday August 18 from 5pm to 12:30 am for their 14th anniversary blowout block party. For more information, go to ScoreBar.net.
