What made you move to sunny South Florida?

I moved to Fort Lauderdale specifically to start my own business and search for a place to open Nuts about Yogurt.

Why did you choose a Yogurt shop?

My brother is in distribution of frozen yogurt and he convinced me it was an upward trend.

How is Nuts About Yogurt doing?

The business is doing great, well above my expectations.

What made you decide to open another business?

Well now that Nuts About Yogurt is doing well, I decided it was time to open another business. I have always had the back space at Nuts and I constantly get people asking me to rent the space, so I decided it was time for me to open another business back there. I made this decision with help from my wonderful boyfriend Ryan.

What made you settle on New York Grilled Cheese?

When I decided I should open another business, I looked up Food Network’s number one comfort food and it was Grilled Cheese. I have also incorporated the other 9 top comfort foods into the different Grilled Cheese sandwiches I will serve.

What will be on the menu?

We will serve 7 types of Grilled Cheese sandwiches, many sides, and we have a beer and wine license so we will be the home of the “Frozen Sangria Sorbet,” and “Frozen Mimosa Sorbet.”

You now have my mouth watering, so when will New York Grilled Cheese be opened?

As you interview me I don’t have an exact date, but it will be mid march, probably right around when this article hits the streets.
