Come Out With Pride Orlando announces line-up

We are quite ecstatic to have worked with several of our partners to bring about diversity and great talents to Orlando, not just on the day of Pride, but throughout the week. We have a little bit for everyone and that is exactly what we wanted to do as our community is a wonderful “collage” that needed to be represented through our week long celebration,” said Come Out With Pride Executive Director Mikael Audebert in a statement…

Come Out With Pride just announced its line-up of international talents attending and performing at Come Out With Pride all week long (October 1-6, 2013).

We are quite ecstatic to have worked with several of our partners to bring about diversity and great talents to Orlando, not just on the day of Pride, but throughout the week. We have a little bit for everyone and that is exactly what we wanted to do as our community is a wonderful “collage” that needed to be represented through our week long celebration,” said Come Out With Pride Executive Director Mikael Audebert in a statement.

On Tuesday, October 1, legendary John Waters will be performing for one night only at The Abbey. VIP Meet & Greet tickets are also available in a very limited quantity. On Thursday, October 3, the opening ceremony at The Cheyenne Saloon will be featuring many talents, including recently out country singer Steve Grand. “We are very excited to have secured Steve Grand to perform at our opening ceremony. His recent release of All American Boy definitely fits our theme this year, Pride Takes Center Stage,” said COWP 2013 Board President and Executive Producer of Entertainment Brian Smith.

On Friday, October 4, a coalition of businesses on Church Street, led by Church Street Station and Hamburger Mary’s is bringing to the block party diva Martha Wash and sensational comedians & singers Amy & Freddy.

Saturday, October 5, on Pride Day, Taylor Dayne will be one of the seven Pride color marshals and will also perform at Parliament House. “Our partnership with Parliament House continues to expand. Each year, we are pleased to have our friends work with us to secure a relevant talent to be part of our parade AND offer a great performance at what has been one of our official after-parties for three years running now,” added Mikael Audebert.

The main stage entertainment is still being kept a secret. COWP will be releasing that information 30 days prior to the celebration. On Saturday, October 5, Mansion Escape, an official after-party is bringing to Orlando celebrity DJ Chris Cox for a unique concept taking place in Winter Park. As COWP continues to finalize its week of events, more names will be released.
