Axel Andrews and Bobby Mills with Dance It Studios and The Dancer’s Boutique present “Dancing with the Queens,” a fundraiser for The Hope and Help Center of Central Florida. It will be held at The Abbey (100 S. Eola Dr., Orlando) on Monday, February 10. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the night’s festivities starting at 8:30. Darcel Stevens, the grande dame of the Parliament House Resort, will be mistress of ceremonies this evening.
At this event, eight female illusionists, representing venues from across Central Florida such as Parliament House Resort, Pulse Orlando, Revolution Nightclub, Hamburger Mary’s Orlando, and beyond, will be paired with professional dancers under the tutelage of Eddie Rivera. Together these couples will compete for Orlando’s version of the coveted mirrorball. The performers who will take part in the benefit are Shantell D’Marco, Angelica Sanchez, Roxxxy Andrews, Sasha Colby, Kai’Ja Adonis, The Minx, Maya Andrews and Chantel Reshae. Local celebrity judges will critique the couples and eliminate as needed until winners are crowned.
In addition to the main presentation, there will also be an art auction, with pieces provided by painters and photographers from all across the Orlando area. This portion of the evening will be emceed by Doug Bowser of Stonewall Bar Orlando. There will also be a raffle, silent auction and speed painting display exhibit by Timothy Thomas. All auction and raffle proceeds will directly benefit The Hope and Help Center.

The main offices are located at 1935 Woodcrest Drive in Winter Park, and there are seven other locations serving thousands of people across the four-county area.
