FUNDRAISERS FOR THE HOPE AND HELP CENTER

SATURDAY, AUGUST 16

The Parliament House Resort (410 N. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando) will be hosting two events in one night benefiting the Hope and Help Center of Central Florida. These two events, “Fashionista” and “Vegas Night,” will be the highlights of the evening at Parliament House on Saturday, August 16.

“Fashionista” is billed as a “red-carpet event” and starts with a cocktail hour and reception at 6 p.m. followed by a fashion show and live entertainment at 7 p.m. Parliament House’s famous Footlight Players will make a performance after the fashion show. “Fashionista” is sponsored by Hardrive Productions, JM Best Entertainment and NV Design Firm. Tickets to this event cost $10 for general admission and $25 for special VIP seats (a limited amount of VIP seats are available). Both ticket levels can be purchased online at parliamenthouse.com and general admission can be purchased at the door.

Be sure to stay around after “Fashionista” ends at 9 p.m. for the second part of this fun evening: the annual “Vegas Night” fundraiser. If you’re feeling lucky, you can try your hand at poker, roulette and blackjack. All of these games are crowd-pleasers and are sure to bring the feel of a high-rolling casino to Central Florida! The money raised helps the Hope and Help Center and the great work their employees and volunteers do every single day. Special entertainers include Britney Spears impersonator Derrick Barry and Toronto-based performer Brookle Lynn Hytes. They will be performing with the Footlight Players at 10 p.m. and midnight.

The Hope and Help Center, founded in 1988, is the largest HIV/AIDS service organization in Central Florida. Over the past 26 years, the organization has grown to provide a variety of care services and resources for people affected by HIV and AIDS in Orange, Seminole, Lake, and Osceola Counties.
