Usher Raymond first gained recognition at the age of 13 when he competed on the television show Star Search and won. L.A. Reid, the co-founder of LaFace Records, signed him to a contract. His first album, Usher, was released in 1994 and peaked at #25 on the R&B/Hip Hop Album charts. It was the release of his second album, My Way, in 1997, that catapulted Usher to international stardom. He earned his first #1 pop hit from this album with the single “Nice & Slow.” His single “You Make Me Wanna…” also became a hit.
Usher’s next two albums, 8701 (2001) and Confessions (2004), burned up the charts and these two albums alone sold nearly 30 million copies worldwide. Usher added six more #1 songs to his repertoire from these albums: “U Remind Me”, “U Got It Bad”, “Yeah!”, “Burn”, “Confessions Part II”, and “My Boo.” All of these hits earned him the honor of being the top-selling Hot 100 male artist for the decade of the 2000s.
In all, Usher has sold over 65 million albums worldwide. He has earned eight Grammy Awards, and Billboard Magazine named his 2004 album Confessions the top-selling album of the entire decade. Nine of his hits have reached #1 on the pop charts, with an extra nine charting in the Top Ten.
The UR Experience is Usher’s fifth tour, and his first in four years. For this tour, Usher will give you his greatest hits that you know and love, and also some selections from his upcoming album UR, such as “Good Kisser” and “She Came to Give It to You.”

General admission tickets to Usher’s UR Experience Tour can be purchased online via ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 653-8000. If available, concert tickets can also be purchased at the various venues’ box offices up to two hours before the concert begins. Ticket prices start at $35 for all three Florida performances (before tax).
