Gay Days celebra 25 años y One Magical Weekend comienza una etapa nueva

Durante la primera semana del próximo mes de junio, miles de personas de todos partes del mundo llegarán a Orlando para el peregrinaje anual a Gay Days y One Magical Weekend. Este año marcará el 25º aniversario de Gay Days y One Magical Weekend lanza una su era nueva con fiestas y eventos separados de los de Gay Days. Para las mujeres, Girls in Wonderland ofrece muchas actividades y eventos en otro hotel separado.

Todo comenzó en 1990 con un grupo de personas con ganas de traer visibilidad a nuestra comunidad. Vestidos en  camisetas rojas, la comunidad LGBT ha llegado cada año con más y más gente, hasta que ahora 25 años más tarde, ha convertido en uno de los eventos más grandes del año en Orlando.

Con su sede en el Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at Seaworld, Gay Days les trae eventos espectaculares a lo largo de 6 días (las fiestas comienzan con el lanzamiento el martes 2 de junio) e incluso un enfoque nuevo en la comunidad latina. Este año, en vez de dedicar las fiestas en una de las tres piscinas a las mujeres, han decidido a dedicarlas a nosotros, los latinos. El fin de semana gay en Orlando no sería lo mismo sin las fiestas de One Magical Weekend, que trae la fiesta anual Riptide en el parque acuático de Disney Typhoon Lagoon. Riptide es un evento privado, el parque está cerrado al público, que es uno de los eventos más esperados del fin de semana… tantos cuerpos, tan poca ropa. Este año, los organizadores de One Magical Weekend decidieron a separarse de Gay Days y consiguieron el B Resort and Spa, marcando la primera vez que un hotel Disney participa en las actividades del fin de semana. Además de Riptide, y E-Tea, su fiesta anual en Epcot, este año traen un montón de fiestas nuevas y entretenimiento constante para el fin de semana especial. Jueves 4 de Junio

Gay Days Expo– 11am-7pm- Con más de 100 vendedores, el expo estará abierta al público diariamente a lo largo del fin de semana y cuenta con muchos premios y regalos.

Gay Days Latin Carnivale Fiestas de Jueves-12pm-12am- Piscina Serinity en el hotel anfitrión de Gay Days. Las fiestas latinas del jueves cuentan con los DJs Sebastian, Tess, y Aracely Manterola. Entrada gratuita para los que se inscriben en GayDays.com, pero también son disponibles para otros visitantes. Habrán eventos latinos todo el fin de semana en esta zona del hotel.

Viernes 5 de Junio

Therapy Fiesta en la piscina- 11am-7pm El lanzamiento de una fiesta nueva presentado por One Magical Weekend en la piscina del nuevo hotel anfitrión de OMW,el B Hotel. Cuenta con los sonidos DJ Shane Stiel y Alyson Calagna. Las fiestas de Therapy continuarán las tardes del sábado y domingo.

Riptide 7pm-2am-Typhoon Lagoon parque acuático- Más de 6000 personas hacen Riptide un de las mejores fiestas de todas. Riptide cuenta con los sonidos de DJ Phil B y Joe Gauthreaux. No faltes la piscina de olas o los toboganes únicas que solo puedes encontrar en Disney.

Sábado 6 de Junio

25º  Aniversario del Gay Day en el Magic Kingdom- 9am-12pm

La tradición continúa, mientras miles de miembros de la comunidad LGBT descienden sobre el Magic Kingdom en Walt Disney World. Este es el evento de que lo empezó todo y es una fiesta como ninguna otra. Los Príncipes de Disney, Country Bear Jamboree, Piratas del Caribe, seguro que va a ser mágico . Hay que llegar temprano para encontrar los personajes cuando llegan en el tren y acompañan a todos cuando entran el parque y quedarse hasta el final para ver Tinkerbelle volando desde el castillo y ver un espectáculo de fuegos artificiales impresionante.

Red Unmasked- 7pm-2am- Epcot One Magical Weekend orgullosamente presenta el estreno de un fenómeno nuevo, Red- Unmasked versión uno. Este evento, que se llevará a cabo en Epcot, va a ser una fiesta increíble. El DJ Paulo, de fama internacional tomará control de los sonidos. Debes llevarte algo rojo, pero se prohíben disfraces.

Domingo 7 de Junio

Gay Days Main Temptation Fiesta en la Piscina- 10am-3am- En la piscina principal del hotel anfitrión de Gay Days- Con los sonidos de DJ Citizen Jane, Randy Bettis, Edil Hernandez, y Chris Adams.

Gay Days Bears Hunny Pot Fiesta en la Piscina– 10am-2am- En la piscina serenity- Los oso salen de la hibernación para este serie de fiestas que cuentan con los sonidos de Jarhead DJ, DJ Sergio, DJ Citizen Jane, y DJ C-Rail.

E-Tea Dance y Drink around the world-2-9:30pm- Epcot- Para el 4º  año consecutivo, One Magical Weekend presenta esta fiesta en Epcot que cuenta con un baile privada en el parque con los sonidos de DJ Grind, uno de los DJs más populares en el mundo gay.

During the first week of June thousands of people from all parts of the world will come to Orlando for the annual pilgrimage we call Gay Days and One Magical Weekend. This year marks the 25^th anniversary of Gay Days and the first time that One Magical Weekend will set out with a host hotel and daily events of their own. For the ladies, Girls in Wonderland offers lots of activities and a host hotel all of their own.

This year, instead of having a woman´s pool, they have decided to have a Latin pool which will be dedicated to bringing the hottest sounds that our community loves. The Gay Disney Weekend wouldn´t be the same without One Magical Weekend, which presents the annual Riptide party at Disney´s Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark. Riptide is a private event, the park is closed to the public, that is one of the most highly anticipated events of the weekend… so many bodies, so little clothes. This year, the organizers of One Magical Weekend decided to separate from the pack and they will feature their own host hotel, the B Resort and Spa. This will be the first time a Disney Hotel will take part in the weekend festivities. Besides Riptide and E-Tea, the annual party at Epcot, this year, One Magical Weekend presents a ton of new pool parties (since they have their own hotel), and they will provide a near constant stream of entertainment all weekend long. Gay Days Expo- 11am-7pm Over 100 vendors open to the public- The Gay Days expo will run through Sunday June 7 and features tons of prizes and giveaways.

Gay Days Latin Carnivale Thursday Pool Parties- Noon to Midnight- Serentity Pool at Gay Days host Hotel. Featuring DJ Sebastian, DJ Tess,and DJ Aracely Manterola. Free entry for guests registered through GayDays.com, but tickets are available for purchase for other guests. The Latino pool will be open all weekend and will have events going on nonstop!

Friday, June 5

Therapy Pool Party- 11am-7pm- Kickoff of the new set of parties that will take place all weekend at the B Hotel, host hotel of One Magical Weekend. Featuring DJ Shane Stiel and Alyson Calagna, Therapy will be just what the doctor ordered. The Therapy Pool Party series will continue on Saturday and Sunday afternoon as well.

Riptide- 7pm-2am-Disney´s Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark- More than 6,000 people will make this private party one of the hottest events of the weekend. Riptide will feature DJs Phil B and Joe Gauthreaux. Surf’s up at the wave pool where you can catch a six-foot wave or check out some of the one-of-a-kind water slides that only this world class water park can offer.

Saturday, June 6

Gay Day at Magic Kingdom 25th Anniversary- 9am-12am- The Magic Kingdom (Extra Magic Hours 12am-2am)

The tradition continues as thousands of members from the LGBT community descend upon The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. This is the event that started it all and is a party like no other. Disney Princes, Country Bear Jamboree, Pirates of the Caribbean, it’s going to be magical for sure. Get there early to catch the characters arrive on the train and escort everyone into the park and stay late to see Tinkerbelle fly from the castle and catch an amazing fireworks display.

Red Unmasked- 7pm-2am- One Magical Weekend is proud to redefine Saturday Night with the premiere of the Main Event RED Version 1: UNMASKED! This event, being held at Epcot, will be an amazing party. Internationally recognized DJ and Producer – PAULO – will be the driving force behind the music.  Be sure to wear red, but costumes ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Sunday, June 7

Gay Days Temptation Sunday Pool Parties-10am-3am- Featuring DJ Citizen Jane, Randy Bettis, Edil Hernandez, and Chris Adams. Keep your eyes open for the Hotspots Media Group crew as we come around to try and spot our temporary tattoos and give out prizes!

Gay Days Bears Hunny Pot Sunday Pool Parties-10am-2am Serenity Pool at Gay Days host hotel- The bears are sure to come out of hibernation for these pool parties that will wrap up the weekend of bear events brought to you by Gay Days. Featuring the sounds of Jarhead DJ, DJ Sergio, DJ Citizen Jane, and DJ C-Rail.

E- Tea Dance and Drink around the World-2-9:30 pm- Epcot- Back for its 4th year, One Magical Weekend presents Drink Around the World and E-Tea at Epcot beginning at 2:00 pm. At 5:00pm, the doors to a private dance venue in Epcot’s World Showplace open to a Tea Dance featuring the sounds of DJ GRIND. GRIND is one of the most sought after DJ’s on the gay circuit today.
