Neil Giraldo has been the lead guitarist in Pat Benatar’s band since 1979. They fell in love and were married in 1982, and since then the two have shared top billing at Pat’s concerts. Pat’s debut album In the Heat of the Night was released in 1979 and yielded the hit single “Heartbreaker.” Her 1980 LP Crimes of Passion brought us the classic rock hits “Hit Me with Your Best Shot” and “Hell is for Children,” and also earned Pat a Grammy Award.
