American Idol, the famous reality singing competition, has finished its fourteenth season and crowned its next superstar, 29-year-old Nick Fradiani. Now that the season is over, Nick and the rest of the top five contestants from season 14 will travel across the country and meet hundreds of thousands of fans on a 37-city tour of the United States. Knowing that the show has quite a few fans in the Sunshine State, FOX and 19 Entertainment decided to devote seven tour dates to our state alone. Better yet, the tour begins here too.

The nationwide tour begins on Tuesday, July 7 at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. From there, the tour traverses Central and South Florida. The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota is the next stop, with the top five singers performing on Wednesday, July 8. Then the Idol finalists will sing in Melbourne at the King Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, July 9; at Hard Rock Live in Orlando on Saturday, July 11; at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Fort Myers on Sunday, July 12; at the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, July 14; and finally one stop in north Florida at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville on Wednesday, July 15.

Unlike in past years, the tour will only involve the top five singers from the past season. In addition to winner Nick Fradiani, audiences will also get to see runner-up Clark Beckham as well as singers Jax, Rayvon Owen and Tyanna Jones. All five of these singers will get to show off their musical talents on-stage with the backing of a full band. Audiences will get to hear some of their favorite songs that they enjoyed hearing on the show as well as some new material just for the tour, which will include duets and group numbers. Top ten finalist Joey Cook will be joining the top five singers on-stage at certain stops.
