In week three of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 3 the challenge was something that I have never seen on Drag Race before, which is always very refreshing. It was an acting improv challenge entitled “The Bitchler.” They were assigned a character type and a scene partner and from there the “gurls’ were left to show us their talents, and BenDeLaCreme and Kennedy Davenport killed it. Ben was just comedy gold, and every week she is killing it! This week’s runway was amazing, with everyone bringing their “A” game. From the runway alone you can tell it’s an All Stars season! In the end Ben and Kennedy were the top two and this week there was a bottom three with ChiChi, Aja, and Milk being on the bottom. In the end Kennedy won the Lip Synch for your legacy battle and sent Milk home. It was a pleasure to sit down with Milk to dish on here All Stars experience.
How has your life changed since you were on Drag Race?
I mean I definitely gained a lot more experience performing. Before my first appearance I had only lip synched three times. I have traveled the world and met amazing and inspiring individuals. My aesthetics for all my looks has definitely grown and that’s why I was excited to be back!
What has been some of your favorite cities to visit as a RuPaul Alumni?
I really love Vancouver. As it’s an all-around cool city. It has water, mountains—I just love it.
How exciting was it to get called back for All Stars? Did you consider not coming back, and if so what made you come back?
It was iconic and I knew for sure I wanted to be a part of it. I was so excited to be thought of as there are so many amazing queens that have been a part of Drag Race. To be considered was such a huge compliment!
How did you prepare differently for all stars than you did the first time you were on the show?
The first time I didn’t have many connections in the drag community for costumes, wigs, etc. Since then, I built up a network of incredible creators that helped me with All Stars.
Now that you have been eliminated, who do you want to win?
It really is so difficult because it is so high-pressured, and it depends on how you do in that moment. I think we should bring us all back and split the $100,000 TEN ways.
What’s Ahead for Milk?
Continuing to travel and perform. I have this plan to combine my figure skating passion with my drag passion and build a show.
What’s something you want fans to know?
One of the reasons I wanted to go back to Drag Race was to build my platform, and to share stories and news of some of the terrible things that are happening in the queer communities overseas. I am very happy and grateful to RPDR for giving me the platform to raise awareness.
