The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC) presents its Spotlight Mega-Mixer Networker from 6-9pm at the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort (6801 Collins Ave., Miami Beach). Island City Stage preview’s (official opening Nov 3) its 2018-19 season with “Buyer and Cellar, Jonathan Tolins’ hit Off-Broadway comedy. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 5pm through Dec. 2 at the Wilton Theater Factory Mainstage, home of Island City Stage, 2304 Dixie Hwy. in Wilton Manors. Saturday, November 3

Rumors presents the “Not So Smart Ride” at 3pm. This is the 3rd annual Big Wheel Relay Race hosted by Daisy Deadpetals. Any Smart Ride team is welcome but must register at Rumors and provide their own Big Wheel. There will be prizes for 1st second and 3rd place as well as awards for best team costumes, best pimped out ride and crowd favorite.

World-renowned artist, scientist, conservationist and entrepreneur Dr. Guy Harvey will host the 10th Anniversary Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation Banquet to benefit ocean conservation from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa. The annual banquet benefits the GHOF which conducts scientific research and hosts educational programs aimed at conserving the marine environment. The GHOF also funds affiliated researchers working to better understand our ocean ecosystem and educators helping to foster the next era of marine conservationists. Chris Ab Fab presents the 5th year anniversary and grand opening of season for Camelot T Dance (114 S Narcissus Ave, WPB). The anniversary theme will be “The Greatest Show,” and will be hosted by Velvet LeNore and also stars Rianna Petrone and Skye Beckett with show times at 6:30 and 8pm. The night will also feature celebrity guest bartender “Big Mama.”

Flip Flops Dockside Eatery presents their monthly T Dance (first Sunday of the month) from 4 to 7p.m., hosted by Amanda Austin with DJ Robert Lavalle spinning and this month’s special guests: Anna Rexia, Kat Wilderness and Jahsyra Pryce

The Stonewall National Museum, Wilton Manors (2157 Wilton Drive), presents Holy Homo! Honoring the Life of Bishop S.F. Makalani-Mahee, during Transgender Awareness Month. The Exhibition Opening and Reception is from 3-6pm, and will feature live drumming and display items honoring his legacy, during Transgender Awareness Month. Free to attend. Refreshments Provided.

Columbia Records will is releasing the new album from Barbra Streisand entitled: Walls, out November 2.
