Meghan McCain Talks Love and Equality at The 5th Annual Diversity Honors

The 5th anniversary Diversity Honors, which took place at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, recognized TV personality, political blogger and best-selling author Meghan McCain as the recipient of the Harvey Milk Foundation Lilla Watson Medal.

Meghan has no qualms saying what is on her mind and brags that she inherited “my dad’s heartburn-inducing ability to say what he thinks.” A powerful voice for women and Republicans, alike, McCain passionately advocates for women’s issues, social issues and marriage equality.

Meghan McCain chatted with Hotspots Live! on the Diversity Honors red carpet prior to the awards ceremony.

“I’m so happy to be here and so honored to be a part of the Harvey Milk Organization,” said McCain. “I’ve been at a lot of sad and serious things lately, and this is so celebratory and fun. It’s a celebration of love and equality and diversity.”
