St Pete Pride announced Rita Ora and Lisa Loeb are coming to St. Petersburg for Pride Weekend.
“We are beyond excited to bring two amazing talents to St Pete Pride for two incredible performances,” said Executive Director Luke Blankenship.
Lisa Loeb, recognized for her platinum-selling number one hit song “Stay” is headlining the Friday night SP2 Concert in North Straub Park from 7pm – 10pm.
British recording artist Rita Ora is headlining our 1st ever After-Parade Concert. Her global hit “Your Song” written by Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac has reached more than 352 million streams. Other singles include “Lonely Together” with Avicii, “For You” with Liam Payne, as well as her girl-power anthem “Girls” which saw Rita team up with Cardi B, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX.
“After two increasingly successful years of being downtown for the Saturday night Parade, the board wanted to really focus on enhancing participant experience and decided the entertainment aspect would deliver the most impact,” said Secretary and Entertainment Chair Richard Brandt. “With the goal of securing a headliner for Friday night’s concert, it was also critical that we continue to showcase the exceptional talent that calls St Pete and the Tampa Bay area home. In doing so, the largest pride celebration in Florida would be able to maintain the quaint and welcoming feeling that makes St Pete Pride so unique.”

The After-Parade Concert on Saturday, June 22nd will begin shortly after the conclusion of the parade, approximately 9:30pm in North Straub Park, 400 Bayshore Dr NE. Stonewall Uprising film screening. June 13 at 7pm
This compelling documentary examines what happened in June 1969 when New York police raided a gay bar called the Stonewall Inn, resulting in three days of rioting by LGBTQ people no longer willing to abide by a punishing level of harassment and inequality. The Uprising sparked the modern day Gay Rights Movement. The film will be preceded by comments from local resident Jay Chetney, who was present during the Stonewall riots.

St Pete Pride Kick-off Party – June 19 from 7-10pm
They are kicking off St Pete Pride along beautiful St Pete Beach at the Sirata Resort on Wednesday right before their three-day weekend event. Stonewall St Pete Pride Reception – June 20 from 7-9pm
What started out as an event for friends who enjoy the arts has turned into the must-attend reception during the week of Pride. Hosted and sponsored by the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, the Stonewall Reception by St Pete Pride will feature an elegant fashion show, open full bar and light hors d’oeuvres. “The Art Of Fashion” is anything but a common fashion show. Their vision is to bring together the unique and creative influences of a diverse blend of area designers, stylists, models and creators, to show the vibrant artistry of fashion. Designers, Urban Native by Erik Wise, Elizabeth Carson Racker & Audrey Pat McGhee, along with stylist Ricc Rollins from The Style Lab, combine to deliver you glamour, resort chic, the Avant-garde and a splash of individuality. $30
Drag Quen Docent Tour – June 21 at 4pm
Join Bak Lava at the Chihuly Collection for a colorful and unique look at the stunning, permanent collection of artwork by world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly. Join her for an educational and fun-filled tour, proceeds benefitting St Pete Pride organization. Bak Lava is a local comedy queen and enjoys being a part of the arts in various capacities. Bak Lava was born in California at the Fresno Art Museum’s Trashique Gala as a runway model. Since then she has performed at clubs, bridal showers and hosted Drag Queen yoga events throughout the country.

- Pete Pride Festival – June 23 from 11am to 5pm
Presented by Aids Healthcare Foundation, this is the event that started it all. Expected to draw more than 50,000. The St Pete Pride Street Festival will again be the largest community event of the season as festival goers come together to make history while enjoying a day of live performances and entertainment, community booths, art and fantastic food in paradise. They ensure that there’s something for everyone, including you.No outside beverages or alcohol may be brought to the Festival. Water and other beverages will be sold throughout the festival.
