Lil Nas X is here to give you narrative. After releasing his much discussed video for “Industry Baby,” Lil Nas X is ready to drop his entire album. In a new teaser trailer, where he refers to himself as a power bottom, the star has announced that his debut album, Montero, will release on September 17. In the tweet where he shared the trailer he said, “Creating this album has been therapy for me. I’ve learned to let go of trying to control people’s perception of who I am, what I can do, and where I will be. I’ve realized the only opinion of me that really matters is my own.” A week before he releases his the album he will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards. He’s nominated for five awards and while he is likely to perform “Industry Baby,” we also hope he would also perform new music.
