Riverwalk of Fort Lauderdale, Versare LLC and Sawyer & Latimer, P.A present Wags, Whiskers & Wine, a President’s Day Weekend Sangria Event, taking place on February 19th & 20th from 1:00 – 8:30pm at Huizenga Park at Riverwalk, 32 E. Las Olas Boulevard.
Wags, Whiskers & Wine is a family friendly outdoor charity event for people and pooches featuring music and entertainment, authentic Spanish Sangrias, a food court, marketplace, pet-promenade, live raffle drawings, and much more!
Proceeds from Wags, Whiskers & Wine will benefit Canine Assisted Therapy (C.A.T.), a Broward County nonprofit human services organization dedicated to improving the health and well being of those in need through the use of certified pet therapy teams and the power of the human-animal bond.
Event tickets are $20 per person and include two glasses of Sangria. Children 12 and under are free and must be accompanied by an adult. Leashed dogs accompanied by their owner are welcome. Tickets can be purchased upon entry or at sangriaweekend.info.

Canine Assisted Therapy Inc. (C.A.T.), a human services nonprofit organization, consists of 114 certified pet therapy teams who provide therapeutic visits and comfort to over 70 facilities in South Florida. C.A.T.’s therapy dogs help thousands of people every year. Our pet therapy teams work with seniors, Veterans, trauma victims, struggling students, at-risk youth, hospital and hospice patients, children and adults with special needs, and many others.
Canine Assisted Therapy was instrumental in helping the Parkland community start the healing process after the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018 and aided first responders and families affected by the condo collapse in Surfside. The organization’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of children and adults by achieving specific physical, cognitive, social, or emotional goals through the use of certified pet therapy teams.
