In celebration of Pride Month 2022, Savor Cinema (503 SE 6 Street, Fort Lauderdale) will present free screenings of, Kiss Me Guido, tonight at 7pm and then again on Saturday, June 25 at 6pm and 8pm. Kiss Me Guido puts lifestyles on a comic collision course.  One hilarious mix-up follows another as straight-arrow Frankie (Nick Scotti), a pizza maker from the Bronx, comes to terms with Greenwich Village gay culture, and his new roomie, actor/choreographer Warren (Anthony Barrile), comes to terms with Frankie. The Pub on the Drive presents Steve and Suzie Cruizin live on stage form 6 to 8pm.

GMCSF’s Pride Concert, Unbreakable & Unstoppable is an Official Stonewall Pride Event and takes place tonight and tomorrow, June 25 at 8pm at the Sunshine Cathedral. Our community just can’t be kept down; no matter the challenges, we find a way to overcome them. Unbreakable is a look at LGBTQ+ history through the lens of heroes who have moved us forward. The evening will also include an explosion of triumphant gay anthems that have inspired the gay community to be ourselves on dance floors and in communities across the globe. Sponsored by FAB! The hottest divas in Palm Beach County will be taking the stage at one of this summer’s premiere LGBTQ+ events: The Stonewall Ball! The First Lady of the Palm Beaches Melissa St. John, Miss Florida F.I. at Large Velvet Lenore and Miss Palm Beach Pride 2018 Rianna Petrone will be performing alongside several other surprise elements that you won’t want to miss.  So, prepare to dance, drink and sing the night away at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium. The Museum of Discovery & Science, (401 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale) presents the Fourth Annual Family Pride Celebration; this year an official event of Stonewall Pride. The daylong event for the entire family will have a rainbow science lab, exhibits, demonstrations, story time with a drag queen, as well as make-and-take-home sessions for Pride flags, prisms and tie-dyed T-shirts (a white shirt costs $5). There will also be kiosks with healthcare, legislative affairs and local community organizations. The event is free for museum members and Fort Lauderdale residents (with proof of address at the box office). For nonresidents and non-members, the cost is $5. The Pub on the Drive presents charity bingo for the Pet Project with Vauz Allen from 2 to 4 pm, and then at 8pm they feature the talents of Electra.

The Arsht Center invites the entire community to close out National Pride Month at the fifth annual CommuniTea Dance, the Center’s FREE Pride celebration, which this year  is an official Stonewall Pride event. Hosted on the Center’s Thomson Plaza of the Arts, CommuniTea Dance is an all-ages event honoring South Florida’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community. From 5 to 8 p.m., guests will enjoy exploring the event’s Pride Marketplace which spotlights local LGBTQ+ organizations, artisans, creatives and small businesses. The event also features a stellar lineup of LGBTQ+ artists including Miami’s own DJ Hottpants, as well as a special performance by celebrity drag queen and advocate Miz Cracker from RuPaul’s Drag Race. This is a free event; however, tickets must be obtained for every member of your party regardless of age.

The Lambda Brotherhood presents a Pride Month Pool party starring DJ Hukill from 12 to 5pm at Inn Leather (610 SE 19th St, Fort Lauderdale). Admission is $25 and includes food.

Sunday, June 26

NSU Art Museum is hosting “A Sense of Pride: Keith Haring and the 80’s East Village Art Scene Art Talk” which will explore the life of iconic artist and activist Keith Haring in Manhattan in the 1980s, and reveal how his planning of exhibitions, parties, pop-up shops, activism and protests made this a moment of global and historic significance. It is tied to one of the Museum’s current exhibitions, Confrontation: Keith Haring & Pierre Alechinsky, which showcases the works of Haring, who was an openly gay man, avid social activist and treasured artist to the LGBTQ+ community. This Pride Month celebration event comes on the heels of NSU Art Museum announcing Dr. Lee Sider as its LGBTQ Ambassador last month. The events is from 3-4pm and is free with museum admission.

The Pub on the Drive presents their monthly Joyful Noise, A celebration of Gospel Music from 6pm to 8pm.

The Key West Theater presents Queer Keys Coming Out party from 5-8pm with doors opening at 4pm. The event is hosted by Puddin’ Tane and features performances by Vicky The Doll, Gwen Filosa, Marjory Lee, Glass Cats, and 3Sum, and features a silent auction. Wednesday, June 29

Twist South Beach invites the entire community to come out and celebrate their 29th anniversary with open bar and Hors D’oeuvres from 9-11pm. The night will also feature the sounds of DJ Sushiman with shows by TP Lords and Josefina La Globos.

The Blue Man Group returns to Miami through July 3 for a limited engagement as part of their North American tour. It’s everything you know and love about Blue Man Group: signature drumming, colorful moments of creativity and quirky comedy. The men are still blue, but the rest is all new! Featuring pulsing, original music, custom-made instruments, surprise audience interactions and hilarious absurdity, the Blue Men’s show is a joyful experience that unites audiences of all ages. Saturday, July 2

The Pet Project presents a Swimwear Auction at the Pub from 2-5pm where they invite you to come out and bid on your favorite sexy model. Hot models and cute pups walk the runway to raise much needed funds. For more information, go to: thepetprojectfl.org.

The Hotspots Happening Out Art Gallery with Dennis Dean presents their July opening night reception from 6-9pm. The artists include Andrew Campbell-Smith, Jim Kiselica, Paul Mcdermott, Andrew Hollimon, Dennis Dean and Susan David. There will also be live models and a fashion show by Gett Wett Swimwear.

Hotspots Magazine and Happening Out TV present Pride Skate which this month celebrates “Independence Day” at Xtreme Action Park from 7-10pm. Pride Skate, which takes place the first Wednesday of every month is a fundraiser for Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride Parade and street festival.
