All-Women Art Exhibit Comes to Wilton Manors

In honor of Women’s History Month, The Hotspots! Happening Out Art Gallery with Dennis Dean and Arts United presents a Celebration of Women Artists and Art selected, curated, and juried by local women community leaders.

The Women: Power Imagined exhibit will showcase the talents of women artists with two events open to the public: the Opening Reception on Saturday, March 4th from 6 to 9pm and our Artists Showcase that features a diverse display of artistic expression on Saturday, March 19th from 5 to 8pm.

Far too often the artistic contributions of women are made invisible. In honor of Women’s History Month, the “Hotspots! Happening Out Art Gallery with Dennis Dean” presents A Celebration of Women Artists and Art.

The Women: Power Imagined exhibit, developed and powered by an all-women planning committee, seeks to amplify new and emerging women artists in an LGBTQ+ friendly environment. Creating this space takes resources and we need the support of organizations like you to make this possible. Attached, please find sponsorship opportunities in different levels that highlight the ways in which you can be a partner in this endeavor, exposing your business or organization to a diverse population.

Women’s History Month is a time to celebrate the power of women in our families and communities. With our ongoing commitment to diversity, Hotspots! Happening Out is excited to partner with Arts United to bring you The Women: Power Imagined.

The Women: Power Imagined will showcase women artists and art throughout the month with two events open to the public: the Opening Reception on Saturday, March 4th from 6 to 9pm and our Artists Showcase that features a diverse display of artistic expression on Sunday, March 19th from 5 to 8pm.

Call to Artists:

Are you an artist? Sign up at hotspotsmagazine.com/artgallery for a chance to showcase your art at the gallery. This exhibit will be selected, curated, and juried by women leaders in the South Florida art world. And you could win a cash prize!

“The opportunity to dedicate an entire exhibit to the power of women artists and art showcases our commitment to diversity in March and throughout the year. The Women: Power Imagined is a moment in time to reflect, celebrate, and uplift those among us who lead our communities, tell our stories, promote healing, and are too often made invisible. Art gives us the opportunities to confront the present and imagine new realities, making an exhibit curated by women, featuring women artists extra necessary,” Jasmen Rogers, Marketing & Events Coordinator, Hotspots! Happening Out.
