Latinos Salud Presents ‘Evolution’ Broward Gala at DCOTA

Get ready for Latinos Salud’s gala event, “Evolution.”  On Saturday, February 25th the non-profit HIV/STD agency will host its first indoor Gala since 2020, at the opulent Design Center of the Americas in Davie.  Executive Director Dr. Stephen Fallon invites community members to “Get decked out in your party or evening wear and re-connect with community.”

Guests can look forward to free parking, open bar, passed small plates, entertainment, and a fast-paced program.  Those purchasing VIP tickets will get photo opportunities, a dedicated cocktail hour, and will receive the agency’s popular “Benefit in a Box,” personally delivered before the event.

The “Evolution” theme speaks to the ways that the agency has adapted, especially over the past three years.  Even while growing its HIV prevention, testing, and PrEP programs, Latinos Salud added free vaccinations against COVID-19, monkeypox, meningitis, and hepatitis.  The agency also added a new location in North Miami, launched its Youth Services program and Health & Culture program, and will soon be expanding its hours.

This year, the agency’s Gala is going local in the best way.  Guest performer, Franzel Pazos from I Can See Your Voice is also a PrEP client at Latinos Salud, and proud to share his journey.

The Gala will be a night of celebration, for the entire community.  Latinos Salud is making it easier for everyone to attend.  “We’re holding our tickets to our pre-COVID pricing,” said Rafaelé Narváez, co-founder and Director of Health Programs for the agency.  “Since ticket purchases will pass through our Florida AIDS Walk team, they will be matched by our generous sponsors at AHF.  So, your ticket still provides strong support to the agency, without the need to increase our pricing.”

Tickets are just $175 for regular entry, or $225 for VIP cocktail hour, meet and greet, and personalized delivery of the agency’s Benefit in a Box.  Tickets are available at the agency’s website, LatinosSalud.org or can be purchased at any of its locations.
