Recently, I sat down with famous event producer Tom Christ. Tom is the co-producer of One Magical Weekend and Bear Jamboree and a Board Member of the Kindred Pride Foundation. Tom, along with his partner, Billy Looper, have been working on expanding their events over the last 15 years to include a more inclusive and diverse audience during one of the most iconic LGBTQ+ events in the world. Tom was with us to discuss the 30+ year tradition of gathering in Orlando at the Walt Disney World Resorts, Gay Disney, and the upcoming One Magical Weekend which will feature Riptide at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark, events at Disney’s Springs House of Blues, pool parties, and after-hours with the world’s top DJs, influencers and RuPaul drag performers at the host hotel, the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista. He also talked about the second annual Pride Cup arranged in partnership with WeHo Dodgeball, Outloud Sports, NGFFL, Rainbow Sports League, and OutSports Orlando.
