As he marks the 25th anniversary of his debut English album, the eternal gay heartthrob shared his experiences with Out Magazine. Martin discussed the evolving landscape for gay artists in entertainment and his desire for a challenging antagonist role. Martin told Out, “I want to be an antagonist. I want to be dark, and I want to be hated.” Gay community can never hate Martin, but we will surely love to see you in hate-worthy characters. Prior to Palm Royale, Martin appeared in Ryan Murphy’s praised series The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.
