Once-Famous Courtney Love Goes After Today’s Pop Divas

In a new interview with The Evening Standard, Courtney Love (who last had a hit song in 1997), decided to share her views on some of today’s top Pop icons. She said Taylor Swift was “not important” and “not interesting as an artist.” She said of Madonna that “I don’t like her and she doesn’t like me.” Talking about Beyoncé’s new album she said “I like the idea of Beyoncé doing a country record because it’s about Black women going into spaces where previously only white women have been allowed, not that I like it much. As a concept, I love it. I just don’t like her music.” She did get real as she finished the interview, saying, “I always wanted to be known as a bitch. Being liked was never my thing.”
