The world’s first Pride of the year is back! My Hollywood Pride returns Sunday, January 26, from 1 PM to 7 PM. It was originally announced that the event would move to the iconic ArtsPark at Young Circle. But this week My Hollywood Pride announced a move to return to Hollywood Boulevard and downtown. Security concerns for the festival were cited as the need to move the event. This family-inclusive event promises local food, live music, entertainment, and cultural exhibits. This year’s theme, “Keep it 100,” celebrates the City of Hollywood’s centennial and its perfect 100% Equality Score from the Human Rights Campaign’s Municipal Equality Index—an achievement led by the Hollywood LGBTQ+ Council. Hollywood’s Pride began in 2022, marking the city’s first perfect score. Now, with its 100th anniversary, the city is celebrating its growth as a hub for inclusivity and community pride.You can join the fun and honor a city that’s keeping equality and celebration at its heart.
