Holy Cross Wilton Manors kicked off its 25th anniversary at the Greater Fort Lauderdale LGBT Chamber holiday luncheon in December. Sponsored by Holy Cross Health, the event at the Westin Hotel gathered LGBTQ and allied business leaders.
The event brought together members of the LGBTQ and LGBT-friendly business community, who were addressed by representatives of the Holy Cross Leadership team. But even more important, Holy Cross launched a unique LGBTQ Newsletter Health to Celebrate Wilton’s 25th Anniversary and its vibrant community.
The LGBTQ newsletter is designed first and foremost to talk to the vast Holy Cross employee base about the important interactions between the healthcare system and LGBTQ individuals. Different voices at Holy Cross speak about the unique needs of employees and members of the community that receive their health care from Holy Cross. The unique newsletter shared with thousands is an example of corporate embracement – different from much of what we have seen from some in corporate America in the last year.
