A Crunch Fitness location in West Hollywood, California, has closed its steam room after reports of “inappropriate conduct.” A sign was posted in the men’s locker room, alerting members to the closure.
It reads: “Attention Members: The steam room in the men’s locker room is temporarily closed. This is due to inappropriate conduct by members. Reopening is under review and will be determined the week of January 27, 2025.”
It’s unclear how the gym plans to “review” the situation, but this isn’t the first time drastic measures have been taken. In 2022, a similar sign went viral, urging members to engage in sexual activity “literally anywhere else.”
That sign said: “Please DO NOT HAVE SEX in the Men’s Locker Room! You can have sex literally anywhere else, just not at Crunch Fitness…”
