The Standing on the Shoulders of Heroes Gala will take place on Saturday, March 1 at 6 PM at The VENUE in Wilton Manors. Hosted by the Stonewall National Museum, Archives, & Library, the event will celebrate LGBTQ leaders and their contributions.
Diana Nyad will also be attending the event. This year’s Honoree is Tristan Schukraft, an entrepreneur and queer advocate Additionally, the late Edie Windsor, whose Supreme Court case helped secure federal recognition for same-sex marriages, will be inducted into the Standing on the Shoulders of Heroes.
