The Pérez Art Museum Miami will host the screening of Unicorns on Thursday, September 11, at 7 PM as part of its Pride Film Focus series. Directed by Sally El Hosaini and James Krishna Floyd, the film will showcase a moving story of a queer South Asian nightclub performer and a young single father whose lives collide in unexpected ways. Audiences will experience a narrative exploring identity, love, and transformation, set against the backdrop of cultural pressures and personal truths.
The film stars Ben Hardy and newcomer Jason Patel, whose performances will capture both raw desire and emotional depth. Unicorns has already garnered international recognition, winning Best Makeup & Hair Design at the British Independent Film Awards and the Audience Award for Best Feature Film at the Dinard British Film Festival.
