Every Tuesday, The Pride Center at Equality Park hosts its Coffee & Conversation event in Schubert Building from 10 AM to 12 PM. Known as the nation’s largest weekly gathering of LGBTQ+ Active Agers, the program brings together community members for connection, support, and plenty of laughter. The event features donuts, corny jokes, social activities, and educational discussions, creating a space where senior queer adults will share experiences and strengthen friendships. Service linkages, community news, and fun announcements will also be part of the agenda.
For those unable to attend in person, the gathering is streamed live on Facebook every week at 11 AM, allowing wider participation and engagement. By fostering joy, learning, and meaningful conversations, Coffee & Conversation continued to serve as a vibrant hub for LGBTQ+ active agers seeking community and connection. The Pride Center provides a welcoming, safe space that celebrates, nurtures, and empowers the LGBTQ+ communities and our friends and neighbors in South Florida.
