Leadership cited major changes to the host hotel agreement, the loss of key corporate sponsorships affecting queer events nationwide, and broader challenges impacting Pride events across the country. Organizers said these factors made it impossible to deliver the experience the community expects and deserves. The team emphasized its long-standing mission and said the pause will allow time to reimagine a stronger, more sustainable future event.
