White House Defends AI Video of Obamas as Apes Posted on Donald Trump’s Truth Social Account – DEADLINE HOLLYWOOD reported that WH Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended an AI-generated clip portraying the Obamas as apes shared on Donald Trump‘s Truth Social account. In a statement sent to Deadline, the Press Secretary said: “This is from an internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from The Lion King. Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public.”
The president’s verified account twice posted a minute-long video about supposed voting machine anomalies. In the final moments of the video, a two-second clip flashes up showing the Obamas as apes, dancing in a jungle setting to “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.” The Queer God Squad sees through the gaslighting to the sickening and obvious racism in which Donald Trump daily trades. All targeted groups must care about all other targeted people, so as LGBTQ folk, including LGBTQ people of color, this is OUR issue to address, and right now, we will.
