Beautiful Evening, Beautiful Day will screen on Thursday, February 26, at 7:30 p.m. at Paradigm Cinemas: Gateway Fort Lauderdale. Directed by Ivona Juka, the film previously held its Southeast Premiere at the Outshine Fall Edition 2025. Set in 1957 Yugoslavia, the historical drama follows four gay former partisan fighters turned celebrated filmmakers whose work collides with Communist regime censorship. A party loyalist assigned to monitor them disrupts loyalties and friendships. Lushly shot and politically resonant, the film explores love, loyalty, and creative freedom. It was selected as Croatia’s official submission for the 2025 Academy Award for Best International Feature.
