Pornhub has launched a new platform called Pornhub Sapphic, a dedicated space for lesbian and nonbinary adult content creators and viewers.
The launch expands the company’s LGBTQ-focused offerings, following the earlier introduction of Pornhub Gay. According to the company, the new platform was created specifically for women-loving-women audiences, including lesbians, bisexual women, and nonbinary people attracted to non-men. The move comes as lesbian content continues to rank among the site’s most popular categories.
Pornhub data previously showed that “lesbian” was women’s favorite category in 2022 and the most-viewed category overall last year. Searches related to scissoring, lesbian MILF, and strap-on content also increased significantly. The company says the new site is designed around the female gaze and will not feature ads commonly aimed at male audiences. Alex Kekesi, Pornhub’s vice president of brand and community, said, “For viewers, it’s about providing women with a dedicated place to explore and enjoy adult entertainment with their experiences and desires in mind.”
The launch also includes featured creators such as The JellyFilledGirls. Pornhub and its parent company, Aylo, have made headlines recently due to legal and political scrutiny over age-verification laws.
