Queer News Tonight is excited to bring a very special World Aids Day memorial event at the brand new Care Resource headquarters on Miami’s magnificent Biscayne Blvd with views of Biscayne Bay. The broadcast will include the AIDS/HIV news of the Day including the December 1 commemoration that will inaugurate the first ever rooftop event space atop one of South Florida’s most important AIDS/HIV community service providers. After all, in 1985 the first ever WHITE Party in Miami entered an age of LGBTQ+ entertainment for a cause that became a model for AIDS/HIV fundraising for the entire world. To help celebrate this momentous occasion, the world’s most famous medical professional and allied advocate of the LGBTQ+ Community is NIH’s Dr. Anthony Fauci. I sat down in America’s only television interview with a person who helped identify what would later become known as AIDS in 1981. He was the architect of PEPfar that is credited for saving more than 20 million people. This month Dr. Fauci will retire after 54 years with a career that started AIDS in the 1980’s to Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 until today.
