The Stud, San Francisco’s famed LGBTQ+ bar, is set to return to the South of Market area in a new location nearly four years after its closure. The new location will be on Folsom St. in the South of Market neighborhood, just a few blocks from its last location on Ninth Street. The Stud Collective has launched a crowdfunding campaign with a goal of raising $500,000 by the end of November to help pay for renovations and other costs of reopening, which is expected early next year.
