Thinking Cap Theatre brings All The Natalie Portmans to South Florida from March 3 to 30 at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center. Written by C. A. Johnson, this bold coming-of-age drama explores an African American family’s struggles with alcoholism, racism, and differing views on homosexuality.
Told through the eyes of 16-year-old Keyonna, who finds solace in Natalie Portman’s films, the play blends humor and heart to deliver a message of self-acceptance.
The production, supported by The Our Fund Foundation and The Warten Foundation, offers audiences an immersive experience with artist meet-and-greets, design presentations, and refreshments. The 7 pm performances have tickets from $20. For more details, visit thinkingcaptheatre.org.
