Actors Hudson Williams and François Arnaud are addressing toxic fan behavior surrounding the hit series Heated Rivalry. In a joint Instagram statement, the actors pushed back against online harassment tied to the show’s rapid rise in popularity. The message read, “Don’t call yourself a fan if you share racist/homophobic/biphobic/misogynist/ageist/ableist/parasocial/bigoted comments of any kind. None of us need your hateful ‘love.’” The statement, later shared by creator Jacob Tierney and author Rachel Reid, emphasized that the cast and crew “all respect and support and love each other and are on the same side.”
