On Sunday, September 30th, at 2:00 PM, beginning at Sidelines Sports Bar, the Wilton Manors GET OUT THE VOTE Bar Crawl will wind its way north along Wilton Drive, in Wilton Manors, FL. While attendees will share in the fun, laughs, and imbibing, this effort is to make sure all LGBT voters are registered to vote in time for the upcoming General Election to be held on November 6, 2012, which will elect our next President. The GET OUT THE VOTE Bar Crawl also hopes to educate LGBT voters and make them aware of the differences between the two parties’ agendas. Voter registration deadline is October 9th, so the GET OUT THE VOTE Bar Crawl is well-timed.
We are delighted to announce that special guest star, BRANDON HILTON, the well-known Internet celebrity singer/songwriter, known for his Electronic-Pop music and his popularity on You Tube, Twitter, Facebook and MySpace, will be participating in the bar crawl.
Volunteers from the Organization for America, organizing committee members, female entertainers, and Democratic Party officials will gather at Sidelines and travel to the eight participating bar along “The Drive” in 45 minute intervals. The eight (8) bars participating in the “Crawl” are Sidelines Sports Bar, Bill’s Filling Station, The Manor, Rosie’s Bar & Grill, New Moon, Matty’s On the Drive, The Alibi, and Boom.
