The community landmark has provided gay residents and gay travelers with a unique outlet for swimwear, underwear, and trendy apparel from popular fashion designers, as well as jewelry, gifts, cards and a variety of adult items.
When Asked how she feels about the 17th anniversary, Lori Deak said: “We are very proud and excited to celebrate our 17th year serving the South Florida area. We’ve had an amazing journey thanks to the hard work of Pride Factory’s staff and the continued support of the entire Fort Lauderdale community. We truly appreciate everyone who has frequented Pride Factory and hope you will continue to visit us in the coming years. We wouldn’t be here without you!”
Pride Factory started out in Fort Lauderdale in 1996 on the corner of W. Broward Blvd. and 7th Ave. Three store moves and twelve years later, Pride Factory arrived at its current location at 850 NE 13th Street and has been in operation there for the past 5 years, becoming the largest gay retail store in South Florida.
All during February, Pride Factory will be celebrating with their patrons. Prize drawings will be held daily, and weekly (February 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd), culminating with birthday cake and the final drawing Thursday, February 28th for the Grand Prize – a huge basket of Pride Factory merchandise worth a total of over $500!
In order to celebrate with Pride Factory and submit your chance to win, come visit the store and fill out an entry form. No purchase necessary! Winners do not need to be present to claim their prize – contestants will be notified by email.
