Bartenders’ Boxers & Briefs Underwear Auction Benefits Tuesday’s Angels
The 8th annual Bartenders’ Boxers & Briefs Underwear Auction will be held at Bill’s on Monday, July 22nd at 8 p.m. Bartenders’ Boxers & Briefs is a fundraiser for Tuesday’s Angels.
Tuesday’s Angels is an outstanding example of the difference that 
people can make in helping others. For over 20 years, Tuesday’s Angels has given emergency assistance (rent, electric, etc.) to financially needy people with HIV/AIDS in Broward County. In addition, they give grants to other HIV/AIDS agencies to provide direct assistance and services to their clients. Over the years, they have distributed more than $2,200,000 in assistance to thousands of people! What makes Tuesday’s Angels unique is that 100% of monies donated are used to assist people in need. All expenses and fees that the agency incurs are paid either by board members or interest income. Every dollar they receive goes directly to help men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS.
“It is our 8th year and we anticipate this year will help us top the $100,000 mark in donations, while 
also producing the largest attendance. We are excited about this event every year; but I truly believe you will find this year to be exceptional and we cannot wait to attend,” said owner Jackson Padgett.
Twenty-five bars have been invited to participate in the live underwear auction and many local businesses are contributing items for the silent auction. Again this year, Tom Wolfe, adult film star and tireless fundraiser, will be joining local MCs/auctioneers Toni Barone, Nikki Adams, Miss Kitty and Russell of Stable. The night kicks off at 8 p.m. with the silent auction and 50/50 raffle throughout the evening. The live auction starts promptly at 9 p.m. on the main stage. Guests bid on the bartender’s underwear and the bartender removes the underwear on stage, behind a towel of course!
In the Mustang Lounge, the bartenders are invited to become stars in the taping of a music video. This year’s video will be filmed to the hit ‘Live It Up’ by Jennifer Lopez.
“Bartenders’ Boxers & Briefs is a fun night that brings so many in the community together for a deserving organization.
