Stella and Dot Trunk Show

The retailer Stella & Dot, famous for their in-person exhibition sales called “trunk shows,” is bringing their next show to the Client Services Center at Broward House (2900 N. Andrews Avenue, Wilton Manors). This trunk show is a benefit for Broward House, and it starts at 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, and lasts until 6:30 p.m. If you can’t make it to the show, you can do your part for Broward House by shopping Stella & Dot online.

An international brand with online and physical presences in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Germany, Stella & Dot was founded by Jessica Herrin in 2003. The brand brings accessories such as jewelry and handbags direct to consumers either by their online portal at stelladot.com or by “trunk shows,” the Stella & Dot equivalent of a “Tupperware party.” At these shows, Stella & Dot consultants (called “stylists”) show off the latest products, take orders for interested customers, and the customers’ products ship directly to their homes.

Broward House partnered with Stella & Dot to offer the community a chance to shop for Christmas gifts while donating at the same time. Twenty-five percent of proceeds raised during the trunk show will go directly to Broward House to ensure that people affected by HIV/AIDS in Broward County will continue to get the services they’ve come to expect from a stellar organization such as Broward House. People who can’t attend the trunk show can still purchase items online through the entire month of December, with proceeds benefiting Broward House.
