The “Can’t Miss” Event of the Season Wows Crowds in Orlando
The Hotspots Media family had so much fun celebrating the holidays with members of the South Florida community that they insisted on bringing the party to Central Florida too. The Hotspots Central Florida Holiday Celebration was held at the Aloft Orlando Downtown on Tuesday, December 16, and the result was an intimate affair where the Hotspots family could connect directly with community members, loyal readers, and local luminaries.
The Aloft’s w xyz Lounge played host to our holiday celebration in Orlando, which was well-attended and beautifully decorated. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres were served, including beef empanadas, quesadillas, and mozzarella and tomato bites with a balsamic reduction. Guests were treated to a variety of cocktails at the w xyz bar, such as the blueberry lemon drop martini, served with a pineapple wedge.
Our community partners and advertisers were invited and many made appearances, including, but not limited to, the owners of SAVOY Orlando, board members of the Metropolitan Business Association of Orlando, organizers of Come Out with Pride Orlando, and board members and volunteers from The GLBT Community Center of Central Florida (“The Center”).
“I had such a great time at the celebration. It was warm and inviting. I felt like I was in good company,” raved one special guest. “I had a wonderful time. Everyone was nice and the event was such fun,” another person said.
