Nearly everyone loves going out to eat, and a beautifully-prepared dinner at a fancy restaurant is something a lot of people love. However, many people can’t necessarily afford to do that too many times per month. Now it’s more affordable than ever to enjoy some of the finer things in life as organizations across Florida unveil their fine dining month promotions. Here’s how you can enjoy fine dining on the cheap over the next few months.

Miami SpiceAffordable-dining_Miami-Spice

The Greater Miami Convention & Visitor Bureau organizes a yearly event called Miami Spice. Held this year from August 1 through September 30, it allows people to visit participating restaurants and enjoy three-course meals at very reasonable prices. Lunches are set at the fixed price of $23, while dinner prices are set at $39. A full list of participating restaurants will be released this month; to find that list, visit miamiandbeaches.com/special-offers/monthly-deals/miami-spice-month.

Miami Spice kicks off on Thursday, July 30 with the annual Iron Fork event. It will be held at the Hyatt Regency Miami Downtown, located at 400 SE 2nd Avenue. Sponsored by the Miami New Times, this event allows people to taste offerings from all of the restaurants participating in Miami Spice. Also, there will be a fun Iron Chef-esque cooking competition, hosted by Chef Allen, which will feature two well-known Miami chefs facing off in a high-pressure cooking challenge! Dine Out LauderdaleAffordable-dining_Lauderdale

Broward County foodies look forward to Dine Out Lauderdale every year, and the good news is that the dates for this year have been set, so mark your calendars now! Dine Out Lauderdale this year will begin on September 1 and will run through October 12. Dozens of restaurants will be participating this year, offering delicious three-course meals for the set price of $35.

Last year over three dozen restaurants participated in the Dine Out Lauderdale promotion, organized and sponsored by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. Not only do restaurants in Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors participate, establishments stretching from north to south Broward gladly open their doors to customers wishing to experience Dine Out Lauderdale for themselves. Last year restaurants in Davie, Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, Lighthouse Point, Pompano Beach and Weston participated.

Flavor Palm BeachAffordable-dining_flavor

The eighth annual Flavor Palm Beach dining month will be held this September. From the 1st to the 30th, people across Palm Beach County can enjoy three-course dishes for a set price of $20 for lunch and either $30 or $35 for dinner (depending on the restaurant). A portion of the proceeds raised by reservations (with meals paid for in advance) benefits the Palm Beach Food Bank.

As of press time, forty-six different restaurants will be participating in Flavor Palm Beach, whether it be for dinner only or for both lunch and dinner. Nearly two dozen restaurants will be participating in Palm Beach and West Palm Beach alone. Just like in Broward, participating establishments dot Palm Beach County from north to south. If you live in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Jupiter, North Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, or Singer Island, there are Flavor Palm Beach dining options available to you. Orlando Magical Dining MonthAffordable-dining_Orlando

Orlando Magical Dining Month, sponsored and organized by Visit Orlando, will be celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. For the entire month of September, over 75 restaurants will be participating in the Magical Dining Month promotion, with three-course meals priced at $33. One dollar from every meal will be donated to the charity organization Foundation for Foster Children.

The restaurants participating in Orlando Magical Dining Month are spread out across Orange, Seminole and Osceola Counties. Whether you live in Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Winter Park, Orlando, or Kissimmee, you can choose from a list of restaurants participating in this year’s promotion.
