A Limited Engagement at the Kravis Center from December 8-13

Blue Man Group has entertained tens of millions of people across the world ever since their first show nearly thirty years ago. Now the pop culture icons, who are currently in residence at blueman2Universal Studios Florida, will be coming down to South Florida for a special engagement at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. The Blue Man Group will begin performances on Tuesday, December 8, going on through Sunday, December 13.

Blue Man Group describes themselves as “comedy, theater, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one.” This phenomenon was first conceptualized in Manhattan, Kansas, back in 1987, and since its mainstream breakthrough in the 1990s, has entertained over 35 million people throughout the world. One of Blue Man Group’s core tenets is to ensure everyone has a good time, whether they come from different ethnic backgrounds or speak different languages. Blue Man Group also describes itself as “the enemy of monotony” and “the remedy for boredom.” South Florida, get ready to experience the full-color excitement of Blue Man Group.

There will be a pre-show musical performance on opening night, Tuesday, December 8, Kravis_logofeaturing schoolchildren from the Palm City Elementary Chorus. They will be performing in the lobby at Dreyfoos Hall 45 minutes before the show. There will also be an interactive installation project in the lobby, made by U.B. Kinsey Palmview Elementary.

Tickets are on sale now and start at $27 per person. They can be purchased online at kravis.org or via the box office at 701 Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach. Showtimes are as follows: Tuesday, December 8-Saturday, December 12 at 8 p.m., and Wednesday, December 9, Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13 at 2 p.m.
